The 400 Dry-Type Copper Granulator consists of a main copper granulating unit (including crusher, air separation table, dust collector, and PLC control cabinet) and a vibrating screen.
1. Copper Wire Crusher
Equipped with a 15 kW motor, the crusher features 8 blades in total — 6 moving blades and 2 fixed blades.
The blades are made of SKD-11 alloy steel imported from Japan, heat-treated for durability and hardness between 58–61 HRC, offering excellent wear resistance, toughness, and fast cutting performance.
2. Crusher Screen
To suit different types of scrap wires, the machine includes 4 replaceable screens with mesh sizes of 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.0 mm, allowing quick changeover to optimize output and efficiency.
3. Air Separation Table
Operates on the principle of density separation between copper and plastic.
A centrifugal fan blows air through the separation mesh — heavier copper particles are discharged from the front outlet, while lighter plastic is lifted by airflow and exits through the rear outlet. The eccentric shaft motion enhances separation accuracy and consistency.
4. Dust Collector
Dust generated from both the crusher and separation table is collected by dual dust extraction fans, filtered into dust collection bags for a cleaner, safer working environment.
5. Vibrating Separator
With dimensions 1.8 m (L) × 0.5 m (W) × 0.7 m (H) and powered by a 0.12 kW reducer motor, the vibrating screen separates brass flakes (upper layer) and copper wires (lower layer), ensuring efficient material classification.
6. Control Cabinet
Built with air switches, leakage protectors, time relays, and inverters.
Features star-delta low-voltage start-up and overload protection to prevent motor damage.
Two frequency inverters precisely control airflow strength and separation table motor speed.
